Bertempat di Ruang Pola, lantai 3 gedung Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Kota (Bappeko) Surabaya, sebanyak 60 penghargaan mingguan, 12 penghargaan terbaik berdasarkan kategori dan 3 trophy jawara program Eco-preneur telah diserahkan pada awarding Eco-preneur. Kesempatan Awarding Eco-preneur dihadiri oleh Walikota Surabaya dan pimpinan PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk. Selain itu, Awarding Eco-preneur juga dimeriahkan dengan pameran poster kegiatan Eco-preneur tiap sekolah.

Sabtu (18/5) pagi ini, bertempat di Ruang Pola, lantai 3 gedung Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Kota (Bappeko) Surabaya, akan diumumkan sekolah-sekolah pemenang. “3 pemenang untuk Sekolah Dasar dan 3 pemenang untuk SMP untuk mendapatkan penghargaan berupa uang pembinaan dengan total Rp. 9.000.000,- dari PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk beserta tropi dan penghargaan dari Walikota Surabaya,” kata aktivis senior Tunas Hijau Mochamad Zamroni.

   30 April 2013 Bel istirahat berbunyi,pukul 09,10 WB. Siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya bergegas ke luar kelas. Untuk istirahat kedua banyak siswa-siswi yang menuju counter Si Cilung untuk membeli produk Si Cilung, antaranya lemon tea asoka, es lios, pupuk bimsalabim,anle spenforty,bros mazine dan rumah permen . Selain siswa-siswi yang membeli produk Si Cilung, guru-guru juga antusias untuk membeli produk kami.

   Si Cilung memiliki counter penjualan sebelah kolam ikan yang bertempat di depan ruang perpustakaan. Si Cilung memilih tempat itu dengan alasan, tempatnya strategis dan cukup luas,selain itu kami memiliki duwa penjaga berupa pohon yang rimbun,jadi tidak membuat es lios kami cepat mencair.

   Waktu istirahat telah berlalu, semua produk kami telah terjual habis. Selain itu bukan hanya kita mendapatkan uang dari kegiatan penjualan produk Si Cilung, kami juga mendapatkan kritik dan saran dari bapak ibu guru atau pun siswa-siswi SMP Negeri 40 Surabaya.
